The Lake, My Love
This short film was my debut “raw tape” featured in an art exhibition. It premiered at the “Thirty Summers” group exhibition at Atlanta Contemporary in the summer of 2024. It is simply me enjoying the summer sun and the crisp, cold water of the river. Me and God’s favorite place to spend time. I long for it every winter.
Much of my work, particularly my video art, is rooted in familiarity. It slows you down, and I use minimal edits. A raw VHS tape just has all the feels <3333
