Unconventional Portraits

Passion Project 001 // Location: Cam Kirk Studios; Atlanta, GA

It all began with an idea. While in preparation for my weekend working trip in Atlanta, a divine idea came upon me to bring my art friends together for day of creating. I had just about three days to prepare for the shoot but I was determined to make this project happen. I pitched the idea of Unconventional Portraits to B.o.B and he was down, I then mentioned it to Tiff who was as equally excited about the project as I was. Tiff was able to get the gang all in one accord for the confirmation of the time and day of the shoot. With in just about a two days I was able to get the studio booked, I purchased the film, and made sure the Vlog and VHS Cam was all charged up and ready to go! The name of the project is inspired by my love for being outside of the norm. I didn’t want the portraits to be a standard and dressy but more of an unconventional theme. The hand of the stylist being pictured in the subject portrait exemplifies the meaning of Unconventional Portraits.
