Admirable She - A Visual Essay

Honoring female visual artists for Women’s History Month, 2022

Before the end of March, I wanted to produce a project to honor some of my favorite visual artists in Atlanta. Below, you will see Emily, a painter and installation artist; Jenna, a painter and installation artist and Director of The Splatter Studio; and Bria, a painter. They are all truly the future of art. This set was captured at The Splatter Studio in Atlanta, GA.

My mother, who is a visual artist, inspired this project. When I was a child, I would go through her high school paintings. I currently have one of her paintings in my home. In “Admirable She,” I honor and celebrate my Mother and my favorite visual artist.
