Exclusive behind the scenes of the B.o.B’s latest single “Steve Harvey”

It is consistently enjoyable to be on set with a musical artist who is both creative, fun, and talented.

For this shoot, I decided to work with my starting lineup of gear: the Polaroid, Mamiya 645 (120mm), Minolta 700i (35mm), and the VHS camcorder. Production spanned a total of four days. It was an incredibly inspiring experience.

The first day of production involved dance auditions. Attending these auditions was enjoyable as I observed the dancers, their various personalities, dance styles, and fashion statements. It gave me a new understanding of how I present myself in my artistry.

During the second and third days of production, the focus was on the dancers' rehearsals. The choreographer, Kristin, was a delight to observe in action. I felt compelled to express to her personally just how incredible she was in her craft. Witnessing Kristin's assertiveness, creativity, and gracefulness inspired me deeply to strive for a similar level of greatness and confidence in my own work.

The fourth and final day on set was truly exhilarating. Witnessing the journey of the project from its inception at auditions to the final video production was incredibly rewarding. The day was made even more special by the presence of numerous esteemed guests, including Boss Lady Vette and many others. B.o.B is an exceptional artist, showcasing not only his remarkable musical talents but also his unique vision and unwavering trust in his creative team. Being part of his sets is an experience I will always treasure.
